Today i managed to insert the bar code into the cover and also all of the titles. I used a basic font.
In todays lesson i began to create my front CD cover. I was able to create my blank canvas, with the correct measurments, and began to import my photographs that I had taken. I added in my spine to the DVD/CD cover.

In photoshop i edited my photographs that will be in my cover, i changed the brightness and contrast, to make them look a slightly abstract, all to tie in with the genre of the music video.

On the front cover the main photo is of trees, front and back. It gives no clue to the audience of what the CD/DVD could contain.

Old front cover

This is the origional cd cover that i made for the album cover. i decided to change my idea, as i feel the colours weren't vibrant enough, and didnt show off the band genre as effectivly as could be.

Album Cover, Inside and out

The Font i used for my album cover is a simple plain bold text, allowing the veiwer to understand the title and also be attracted towards the album colour. Just like the poster i made, i stuck with the theme colours, reds, yellows and black. vibrant colours, also i picked out some of the made shot types we used, such as the sign, 'CAUTION', and also drum sticks played a large part of the video.

I am using bright bold colours in the album cover to attract attention and also to express the genre of the album.

Advertisment Poster...

In todays lesson i made an advertisment poster for the bands live performance show and the relasment of there new album. In the poster i used relevant colours that were used thorughout the music video, relating to the theme of the video. i made the poster A4 size full filling the whole of the page.

The poster is going to relate to the video, the album cover and accesories to buy for the band.

On the poster i included the name of the slbum, band and also the band image.
